Ultimate Shopping Guy-de

I promise it won't be much longer before I knock it off with the cheesy pun titles but I swear I just can't find any other way to get my point across sometimes! It's very easy for all you guys out there to throw on a pair of sweatpants or a hoodie with jeans and stroll out of the house without a care in the world, but how nice would it be to know you're impressing someone or even just making yourself feel good in some stylish clothes you bought somewhere nice and cheap? If your answer is "not that nice", I suggest you scoot your boot over to the nearest H&M and reevaluate your life. The rest of you can go there too, and here are some other places you can try out while you're in the mood.

H&M: http://www.hm.com/us/department/MEN

I love H&M for myself because I'm able to find all my necessary basic tees and tanks while still stumbling upon an item I can fall in love with that's like nothing I've ever seen. The guy's section is no different. If you're not one for standing out, they have regular hoodies and sweatshirts, jeans and tshirts, but they're a little more dressed up so you can look like you're trying without actually having to. Here are some of my favorite things in the men's section at H&M right now.

Button down kind of guy? Try a new pattern or material to spice things up.

Even if you're a tee fanatic, H&M has you covered with cool graphic tees under $10.

Not a huge fan of straying away from your comfy pants? Buy a pair of chinos in a few different colors.. even these with a plain sweater or tshirt on top changes your look drastically.

Buttons on a hoodie make them much fancier in my opinion.

For all you sweater lovers out there, any pattern is better than no pattern.

Dress it up or down, but never slack when it comes to footwear. No one ever said sneakers couldn't look nice too.

Express: http://www.express.com/clothing/Men/sec/menCategory

Although a little more on the pricey side, Express delivers for all you men who don't mind putting on fancy pants every once in awhile. I've found Express to be a business man's dream while giving a little something to the 'hipsters' out there too.

Who could ask for more than a unique twist to a pea coat? This style hangs along with many other jacket and overcoat styles in their stock.

Button up in style in this season's favorite color.

Stand out in a sea of black and grey suit jackets at work or at play.

Express has a great selection of awesome-fitting jeans for every kind of personality.

My personal favorite thing about Express that makes them stand out is their huge collection of accessories for both men and women.

Urban Outfitters: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/category.jsp?id=MENS

Urban is great because you can shop for clothes while also looking through inventory that includes home decor, random knick knacks, gifts and lots of accessories too. I recommend Urban Outfitters to people who classify themselves as 'skaters', 'hipsters' and 'too cool for school-ers'.

If you fear all patterns, Urban Outfitters is not for you. On the other hand, if patterns are totally your thing, I suggest heading over there with heavy pockets, if you know what I mean.

Their pattern styles range from 'tough guy' to 'artsy' to 'tough artsy guy'.

Attention all funny guys: if you like to wear your sarcasm on your chest, Urban can help you out with their many cheeky statement tees/sweatshirts.

Another awesome thing about Urban is the variety of styles they carry. You can find shoes for all sorts of dudes, ranging from Timberlands to Converse and running sneakers to lace up booties.

Polo by Ralph Lauren http://www.ralphlauren.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=1766205&ab=global_men_poloralphlauren&cp=1766205

My boyfriend is a huge Polo fan and we've found that the best place to buy Polo is at one of their outlet stores. Although Polo is mainly a preppy style, many guys I know who are not preppy in the least have made the famous logo work for themselves as well. Here are some of the things they carry.

The designs are always pretty straightforward and basic, but the repercussions of pulling on that iconic pony logo are always affirmative.

Something I've noticed in experienced Polo adorners is the very deliberate use of patterned socks. Men tend to wear socks in a way that shows them under a pair of slacks as part of a fashion statement. Try it out!

Forever XXI: http://www.forever21.com/Product/Category.aspx?br=21men&category=m_main

I know what you're thinking and no, Forever XXI is not just a store for girls. They carry men's clothing and fashionable men's clothing at that. Clothes are cheap and stylish, what more could you want?

Forever is another one of those print-friendly stores so keep that in mind when heading in there to shop for your next outfit investment.

I hope you all had fun virtually shopping with me today. Now go out and do it for real!
